Description / Abstract
The 2009 Commencement address for the Africa Nazarene University, Nairobi, Kenya. The address focuses on Christian character formation and character development. The character question is asked, “What sort of people ought we to be?” The reply in 2 Peter 1:3-12 provided the answer: “Men and women of good and godly character.” The address discusses three assertions regarding Christian character. The affirmation is given that “God is more interested in our character than in our comfort, accomplishments and reputation.” Attention is given to the lifelong and life-changing process of character formation.
